This place is great, prices are awesome! They have just about anything you want. Are used to go to the grocery stores to get my Ground beef. From Gordon it's a lot less out of my pocket, and on top of that it's a better grade!

What a hidden gem!!! My second time shopping here so I thought I would give a shout out. The prices are very reasonable compared to BJ's and Sam's Club. I also find there name brand products including food much more delicious as well. The staff is always helpful and courteous however they don't have the electronics clothing appliances Etc BJ's and Sam's Club unfortunately have. They except ebt as well which may help many people as well . Free club membership

I Love This Store !!! I love the selections of all the different foods they have. I love the sizes of the containers of items. Everytime we come here , we must buy the pkgs of candy bars , because when broken down, you're saving so much money. We bought a bag of chicken strips & they were perfectly seasoned. I love walking into the "Freezer Section" (especially in the summer, lol). So much to choose from. The foods all look so amazing ! I'm definitely going to start coming here more often for certain items, like bbq sauce. My son & I LOVE BBQ sauce & they have huge bottles here. The employees however are not very helpful. They could see I was desperately looking for something in the frozen section & not 1 person asked if they could be of service. Then, at checkout, I asked the cashier if they carried "Uncrustables?". She said yes, that they're in the freezer section. I went back again, searched pretty good & went back & told her I couldn't find them. Usually, someone will go back & get 1 for you. Instead, we have 3 cashiers, standing around not doing anything & not one would go grab me one. Wtf ? Rude & lazy much ?? So, that's a problem I have with them. So far, everything else seems ok.

When my favorite wholesale restaurant supply company, Willowbrook Farms, closed its doors in the Niagara Frontier Food Terminal, I had to settle for paying higher prices and have less selection at U.S. Foodservice. Recently I had an opportunity to express my frustration while talking with a restaurant chef. He told me about Gordon Restaurant Market on Elmwood. I went there and was in awe at the size of this warehouse, full of bulk foods and supplies, frozen foods, fresh baked goods. They have everything I used to buy at Willowbrook Farms and more. Besides restaurant size non-perishables like canned goods, dry goods, spices, etc., the produce and meat department is humungous. Bring a winter coat when shopping there. You actually walk into a huge cooler area for produce and meat. The cooler room is about the size of a Wagreens store and seemed to be kept at around 32 degrees. You don't have to be a business to shop there like Restaurant Depot and no membership fees like BJs and Sam's Club. Check it out. Also, the staff is extremely helpful.

Just clarify, this place has the same name as me, but we're not related in any way. I went to check it out because I got flyers in the mail. Gordon's is not for typical Wegman's/Tops/Gracery store shoppers. Gordon is selling to restaurant owners, food service operations, sub shops, pizza shops, BJ Wholesale and Sams Club members, and others who purchase large size packages to get big discounts. If you are hosting a large event, this would be a good place to shop. While this isn't a locally owned store, they gave a lot of thought to Buffalo and it shows. They offer some covered parking and have a large parking lot. It's on #20 and #79 bus routes. The store is sparkling clean and well organized. There are two sections to the store. There is an enormous walk-in cooler where I found excellent quality produce, meats, cheeses and other refrigerated items. If you need hundreds of eggs, this is the place to get them. Bring a jacket or you'll be cold in the cooler. The other half of the store has commercial sized packages of dry goods, spices, cleaning supplies, and even commercial freezers. I spot checked a few prices and found they are about one third the price of grocery stores for produce and meats. The prices I saw are truly wholesale prices. It was nice to see many local brands available: Upstate milk, Costanzo's bread and rolls, Weber's mustard, Red Pack, Sorrento cheese. My favorite section was the spice lane. I use a lot of Bay Leaves, which are typically very expensive in grocery stores. Here, I was able to buy a commercial size container for much less than $10. A single, small Bay Leaf plant from Burpee is $25. Getting hundreds of fresh, wonderful bay leaves at wholesale made my day, and my pasta sauce is just wonderful as a result. Unlike Sam's Club and BJ's, Gordon has friendly, helpful employees eager to help you. I am happy to give this establishment 5 stars. One of them made sure to point out that they have many more items available for purchase on line.
